I love trees. I have been getting to know my local trees. I have been climbing, touching, observing, thinking. I wonder if they observe and talk about me too. Bronwen, Menai Bridge
I have been in contact with a few people from Utopias Bach about creating some form of audio archive exploring the Treesense Experiemental residency in relation to its exploration of human and more-than-human-being's connections to one another, about our attempts to humanise the more than human and about the therapeutic benefits of these attempts on informing and reforming our sense of self (both as individuals and as collectives). I am keen to get talking to those involved in Treesense who are interested in collaborating! Thanks very much and excited to see your lines of enquiry unfold further. Charlotte, Tal-y-Bont, Bangor

I am at home in the forest and nature informs my life and my work. Looking forward to this! My crazy garden backs directly on to the Gwydir Forest and Snowdonia National Park, I have found many answers to questions up there, and am on 'first name terms' with many of the trees and beings that live there. See you in the woods! Lin, Trefriw

I would absolutely love to be part of this project as an artist who in my childhood “the faraway tree” by Enid blyton was my only escape from the reality of my situation. To find out and be part of, Utopias Bach's exploration into our human connection with trees & the trees connection with all, & the need in me to be collaboratively creative. Alison, Llangoed
I want to join the school - because the black and white picture from Kar Rawson in the Utopias Bach mailout - not only speaks to my silly little insignificant soul - but contains all the answers for everything - all the past and all the future of planet earth, and is even a radio to other parts of the universe. We talk about needing to be 'seen and heard'. But if we could only 'see and listen to' what's in-front of us, in the shape of the trees and the mycelium winding through, then we could all live, and die (our only imperatives) better. Nina, Blaenau Ffestiniog
To take part in new experiments! Emily, Froncysyllte

Very keen to explore tree life in a more creative free way than my work allows. Alys, Llanllechid
I am a visual artist in love with nature, connection/interconnectedness, time, the body, silence, trees, water. I read in Lindsey Colbourne’s ATNC email that this course mixes poetry, photography, performance, storytelling among other ways of expression that I use myself and that help me understand the world. To know this kind of event exists excited me immediately. I would love to find a form of community of people that express themselves in similar ways or see the world similarly, even if I could only participate through the virtual channels for money reasons, I would still love to get a chance to be a part of the initiative and learn from it. Celene, Portugal
I'm a choreographer who works with human-tree relations. Caitlin, Melbourne, Australia
I’m engaged in a personal journey of reconnecting more fully to the more-than-human world and practicing the craft of poetry. First of all I'm just genuinely glad this initiative exists. I'm extremely motivated to join the school because I'm already entangled and attracted with ecological and artistic practices. I'm currently studying an experimental MA in the Netherlands called Ecology Futures. With my current research and practice I explore hydrofeminist imageries, transcorporeality and crabs. I'm familiar and passionated with alternative practices to relate with ecological systems both with diy scientific methods and with speculative and meditative practices. I also took part in a residency in Italy last summer called Neutopica, which is really about ecology, inhabiting and create temporary utopias. It will be a pleasure to be able to join online and engage with this community. Thank you! Chiara, Amsterdam

Dear all, I stumbled across this websites and the events and everything here resonates so much with me. I'm a PhD student at Aalborg University in Copenhagen, Denmark. I explore how the integration of design and futuring (or futures thinking) can support post-oppositional, relational, and plurality-embracing visions for change. As part of my research, I am experimenting with multi-species design approaches and how to enable people (often my students) to embrace multi-species worlds. I would love to join this event to learn, get inspired, and connect. Rike, Copenhagen
I live off grid in a woodland since Nov 2022. The trees hold me and my family. I want to deepen my relationship deeper to these wondrous beings. We are away in Sweden till April 10th...is it ok to join then? Heron, Y Fali
I've just started maternity leave, so dont really know what my life looks like at the moment - beyond caring for my daughter. However I am hopeful there will be space for creativity in my days. I am a woodworker by trade, so my relationship with trees is primarily a commercial one at present, but I hope participating in this project would enable me to explore other aspects of that relationship.
